The Client is a FTSE 100 Internet.COM employing 500. A national success story, they are now the biggest home-grown Property web brand in the UK proven by the level of traffic levels surpassed only by Facebook, Google, YouTube, eBay and Amazon.

The Client and Imperative People have been working closely for several years and have developed a close and collaborative working relationship with various Hiring Managers across the company from the IT Infrastructure, to the Software Development and Project/Business Analyst teams.

The Brief

As part of a Digital Transformation and re-platforming initiative, the Client engaged Imperative People to help recruit three experienced Agile Business Analysts on a permanent basis for three different teams. As well as engaging with Imperative, the Client advertised the positions internally and reached out to two other IT Recruitment Agencies.

A Senior Recruiter at Imperative led the recruitment and sourcing process. Having built up a solid understanding of the Client, their culture and the soft skills typical of that company allowed her to gain positive traction very quickly. However, continued collaboration and communication with the Hiring Managers meant we understood the skills and project experience that they were looking for and without doubt helped the successful outcome of the project.

Within a few days a short-list of 7 strong Business Analysts with Agile were presented, all of which were invited in for interview. Out of the 4 that past the first round of interviews, two were offered the position. The third Business Analyst role was offered to an internal applicant.

The Strategy

A recruitment strategy was designed at the start of the process. To source and attract active candidates the roles were advertised across multiple channels. To source and attract passive candidate’s social media and Internet-based sourcing tools and expertise was executed to engage untapped talent.

The Client now having the right skills and people to deliver the Digital Transformation projects the client is able to stay at the forefront with its customers and remain number one in the market space.
