Exertis (UK) Ltd is the leading technology distributor of IT, Communications with revenues approaching £2.69 billion in FY2017. They have a professional services arm which helps resellers with sales enablement, implementation and training.

The Challenge

The client had experienced problems recruiting direct for a specialist Technical Pre-Sales Consultant position in the Wireless space. A few factors were uncovered that were blocking the successful hire which Imperative were able to make recommendations on.


The client had a pressing need to recruit a Pre-Sales Consultant with specific Wireless Network experience.

The candidate needed to be within a 30mile radius of Basingstoke and not come from a client Reseller. The candidate was also required to have some Pre-sales skills and Ruckus wireless expertise.
