Job Description

As a Project Manager, you will plan, shape, finalise and execute a number of commercial projects. The Project Manager will work with a variety of other teams including Sales, Customer Services, Internal Systems and Finance to help deliver our revenue growth strategies.

You will be part of the Project & Pricing team who are integral to the efficient and smooth running of numerous commercial projects for our Commercial business areas. The Project Manager will work with other Project Managers, Pricing Analysts and the Operational Programme Manager.

A typical week as a Project Manager might involve
Leading projects from concept through to BAU
* Concept/Questioning the why
* Using own initiative to make decisions
* Cost vs Benefit analysis - Strike the balance and make sound judgements between competing objectives in the business.
* Building your project team and securing the resource to make the project happen in the best way possible
* Planning what work needs to be done, when and who's going to do it
* Keeping the team motivated and on track
* Having ownership and taking accountability at all stages of the project cycle
* Keep calm to solve any issues
* Delivery and implementation of the project to your audience
* Learnings on how we could do things better next time

Build Relationships across the Business
* Communicate at all levels - you will be co-ordinating with lots of different departments which means working with lots of opinions and personalities
* Juggle different projects and business units effectively
* Listen and challenges and question ideas, openly and honestly, whilst providing solutions and options
* Be approachable
* Learns from own and others mistakes, actively seeking help where needed
* Mucking in when required to aid the better good of the project/s, team and Rightmove

Drive Improvement
* Recognising and highlighting any development/project opportunities
* Offering a pro-active and positive approach to new ways the team can challenge and question ideas
* Work on identified improvements whilst also using your own initiative to look at how we can improve

We're looking for someone who
* Minimum 4 years Project Management experience, ideally in a commercial function
* Comfortable managing and prioritising multiple projects
* Superior organisational skills, including attention to detail and ability to work independently
* Ability to think big and small/long and short term
* Experience with understanding complex data, Excel skills preferred
* Sense of ownership and responsibility for the work you and the team deliver
* Passionate and determined
* Ability to absorb information quickly via an intense on the job training programme
* Excellent communication skills
* Open and honest team player
* Can do, will do attitude
* Ability to take feedback to further succeed
* Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and to strict deadlines
