Best-in class IT and Telecommunications provider have a fantastic opportunity for a 3rd Line Desktop Support Engineer. You will be responsible for dealing with 3rd line technical issues and looking after business critical systems in a front office / trade floor environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive software and deskside technical support experience and have worked in finance/investment banking on the trading floor. You must be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines and demonstrate high levels of customer care.
Skills & Experience
- 3rd Line level deskside technical support
- Working in investment banking/trade & sales floor
- Supporting operating systems and applications
- Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft, Exchange 2007/10 (networks and security, WAN, LAN, Powershell desirable)
- Market data feeds (Reuters, Bloomberg, FactSet etc.)
- Troubleshooting Excel Add-ins
- MCSE qualification
