9 Month Fixed-Term Contract, Portsmouth
Well-known ISP and Data Centre Company are currently looking for an experienced IT Service Desk Team Lead/Manager to cover maternity leave for a 9 months Fixed-Term Contract.
In this role you will oversee and manage the Service Desk and Provisioning team and be their point of escalation. As part of your management i.e. a small team of 4, you will conduct development and performance appraisals as well as disciplinary actions etc. This role also involves supplier and vendor management to ensure SLA's are met, managing service outages, ensuring processes are followed and operational policies and procedures are developed and improved.
Additionally, you will project manage side projects delivering a number of process and policy-orientated projects such as compliance and regularity ISO, GDPR Data protections etc. So proven end-to-end project management experience is crucial.
Note this is a 9 month PAYE role, however, the company is growing so there is strong potential for it to go perm having proved your value. This role is ideal for an IT Service Desk Team Lead/Manager or IT Operations Team Lead who has people management experience and has a passion for improving processes, policies and procedures and can drive projects end-to-end.
